Perfect lover

Hmm.... A perfect guy would be...
-caring but not demanding
-gentle but not too soft or clingy
-always let's you to have a say but knows when he should make a decision
-able to make you smile even when you are down
-someone who waits for you instead of you always waiting for him (in long-term relationship)
-calls you back even if you hang up on him
-detailed and knows what you wants
-knows what he wants in life and work hard for it
-someone that can make you act exactly like yourself and not pretend to be someone you are not!
-and of course, someones who treats you the same and showers you will love and affection even if you have been together for 100 years.

*to add to the perfection, he could also be
-friendly to everyone (not just you!)
-good-looking
-humble
-rich!! ($$$$$ adds the fun)

To be fair, this could be applied to girls as well...*grins

Of Graphs And Madness

Posted in
I am so pissed off by my economics lecturer that I couldn’t help but blog about it here. Yesterday, she taught us some graphs, as usual, it’s actually a quite simple graph (revenue and cost curves for price discrimination), but she manage to make it sound extra complicated that no-one really gets what she meant, again, as usual.

Well, what’s worse is, after she let us go early to prepare for the Tony Fernandes’s talk, some of my friends circle around her and ask her a few questions about the graph. So, out of curiosity, I joined them. I began to understand what they are arguing with her, so I joined in and tried to tell her that, -if I am not mistaken because my knowledge about the graph is somewhat limited to what she just taught earlier-, the point on her graph is wrong.

AS USUAL, she looked at us like we are EXTRA dumb and explain what we already understand to us. So we started EXPLAINing back to her why we think her point is wrong. It ended up in some kind of “duck talking to chicken” discussion, and the discussion ended by us surrendering in frustration with a,“ yes miss, we understand.” (As usual too, it happens to me all the time when I am talking to her. Am I really that bad in economics? )

Okay, that wasn’t all. Today, I was late to her class because I was in the library with a few of my friends. Once I got in, Shin Yi waved her hands frantically and mouthed out something I couldn’t understand.

When I approached her, she said,
“ Miss xxx says, whoever haven’t done their presentation, would be given a whole NEW TOPIC to present.”
When Annjoe asked, “Why?”
She answered simply,

“They didn’t volunteer.”

WHAT?!!! You mad cow! I was dying to go out and get over it quickly. You are the one who came in, teach, prepare to leave, and said, “opps, sorry I forgot about the presentation, remind me tomoro.”

I was so angry I didn’t want to talk to her anymore.

Does anybody know who on earth is Tony Fernandes? I bet most of you would have heard about him. In case you still have no idea about him, he's the one providing us cheap or even FREE airlines across Malaysia, and yes, he's the CEO (owner) of AIR ASIA. The big thing today is, he came to our college! (Yeah! We skipped acounting and economics class because of his talk!)
It was supposed to be held in Lecture Theater 1. However, the lecture hall was so packed (students were actually sitting on the floor and teachers were standing at the back) that lecture hall 2 was used to fill in all other students, (i was one of them). We, late comers, were to go through the whole talk watching a video cam projected on a big screen. Even the second hall was quickly filled up, leaving all other students no chance but to go back to class. *wink. No wonder Mr Teoh, our Moral Education lecturer was so pissed off, his class, held at the same old LT 2, was never as packed!

Well, to tell you the truth, i didn't expect him(Tony F.) to be the 'him' we saw today. It's totally unexpected. I mean, he's the CEO of the most popular air line in Malaysia! Everyone would think that, as a CEO of a company, he would be a serious man, calculating profits and strategy to kick off new competitors all the while. Maybe not for you, but i most certainly did. Hmm, his appearance is quite normal, a bit short and a bit round in the middle, but he's humourous. He jokes a lot (ya, some jokes are about MAS airlines), and he's really someone who has a lot of ideas. (No wonder he could take-over AIR ASIA at RM1!) What's truly amazing is, he's actually a full-time musician before that!

He talked about his life before going into air asia, how he bought over air asia at just one ringgit, (he actually got two partners, one of them is Roslan Aziz, the judge in Malaysian Idol), his story about meeting Tun Mahathir to get the air-line lisence, and the way he manage his company right now. He also taught us, "young entrepreneurs"-the way he addressed us, lessons on what to do and what not to do to maintain a business. He put it in a way that, we would feel, hey, managing an air-line is not that difficult after all!

Aha, that's him!

*His the youndest CEO in Malaysia if i am not mistaken.

He really is witty man. He came to gave us a talk, and everyone will be humming,"air asia, air asia" for a few days, so he automatically became his company's live advertisement. Clever, isn't he?

I cut my finger!
That day my mum asked me to cut fruits, so i took out the thing u use to peel off the skin of the fruits (the thing with two blades), and started peeling off the skin. After two "expert" movements of cutting, i peel off my own skin! The blade went right into my finger and peel out the flesh! making it look like the, you know, part which moves when fish breathes.

Instantly it started to bleed and i quickly washed the wound and pressed on it hard. I had to sit down because i feltaint. After dressing up the wound, i had to hold my hand up high so that it wouldnt bleed that much. Suddenly, i became aware of how tired the statue of liberty feels holding her hands up high all day long. -.-"

*i had to type using one hand. sob sob
