SAM charity drive
Today at Taylor's College, stalls were set up by the SAM students in Taylor's College to raise funds for the orphanage and old folks home. There were a lot of cool stuffs going on. For instance, there is this somewhat big cage where underneath it was a big pool of water. For every Rm5 u pay u get o throw 3 tennis balls. U try to hit the bullseye situated in the cage. If u succeed, the plank connected to the bullseye will fall sideways and the person sitting on the plank will fall into the pool. Cool, no? Haha. A lot of the teachers and administrators were tricked into sitting on the plank (they will get rm30 if they sit on it and fall into the water!), while we students get the golden chance of our life to throw the tennis balls to make them fall! Haha, there were alot of ooh's and ahh's everytime the tennis ball nearly hit the bullseye. There was one admin staff who, after being hit, held on to the cage and REFUSE to fall! It was after she was hit trice that she finally gave in and splashed into the pool. Bravo! Haha, she recieved the loudest clap ever.

Of course, there were a lot of other games, like futsal (the second most popular game, where there were a lot of people watching too), and treasure hunt, where u will get a grand prize of RM300 if u manage to spot the treasure. (Well, my guess was the 8th closest to the actual spot, so i dont get any prize because only the nearest 5 will get one, *sob sob)... Anyway, a lot of us had a fun time. Congratulations to all the party involved!

Its been three months since I first stepped into my college life. For the first few weeks, I've given a lot of thought into what i wanna be in the future, and what course should i take now. That, maybe, is the reason why I switched classes everyday, (well, i almost switched to HELP institute too). But after all that, I kinda settle down for the time being.

Hmm, for those who've gone to NS, wei-li, jian xian, seng loong.... well, wish u all good luck, and have fun with getting tanned and physically 'tortured'.

These are a few photos captured recently.

clockwise from top left- Christine, LingSia, Me, Shin Yi and Sze Mei. Actually, we have about 10 peeps, wonder why they all like to hide behind the camera? Haha, different culture, i guess.
VS
On the left is chok, a very funny guy. Right is tecminn, the very opposite of chok.

Both guys are so different that sometimes, it's very funny to listen to them talk. It's like they are from different channels all together. (ahem, this comment could be awarded the Understatement of The Year.) Well, just get to know them, you will know what i mean. *grins.

Back to my life, well, now that i've made my decision to stay in the arts stream, i've gotta work hard and strive for success (ahem ahem), well, wish me luck!

SPM results

Woops... I forgot to write about the day i got my results.... Here's a flashback:

That morning, (it was a monday) i skipped classes and went back to my previous school to get my SPM results. Our class (5S1) had an 'informal meeting' at a mamak (a place where u eat) near our school. Hmm, all of us were cheerful and noisy, it was like nobody remembered that we were going to take our results later. My friend, SKY just came back from national service, and she looked all tanned! Haha. Lucky i wasnt chosen to go, i would be charchoal by the time i come back.

However, time flies, and it's the BIG time. So, all of us got nervous and showed the tension in us that we were trying to hide. I was very worried when we were on our way walking to school. When I stepped into the hall, Pn Norhayati(our national language teacher) walked towards me and congratulated me with a broad smile on her face. At that moment, I knew that i've gotten an A for BM.

But it wasnt over yet. I still had 10 subjects to worry about. So I walked to the table where they were giving out results. When our form teacher saw me, she said, "He Xin, hmm, your EST is not so good," At that moment, my heart sanked. Then she handed me my result slip.

I got an A2 for BC and BIO, a B3 for EST...... and others i got A1, including 1119 english. I managed to breathe a sigh of relieve. Well, it wasn't bad, but i kinda hoped I could get straight As... Haha, come to think of it, I dont know how i manage to scrape an A for BC, History, and Moral studies, but i kinda expect my EST to get an A.

Anyway, i am grateful for getting 10As. Thanks to everyone who helped me out. thanks to my so-called study group members too...(haha, u know wat i mean). *evil laugh.

I am currently in a dilemma as to what course i should take. Lol. I know, i am currently enrolled into a levels, but i can still change, right? This is a few options that i would consider:
-Bio technology
-Bio Medical science
-Pharmacy
-Actuarial science
-Financial analyst
I think i wanna study something related to science and also business. Is there anything of that sort? Haha, suggestions?
